Center Convention announces its new head chef: the award-winning Tyales Veiga.. The professional will now lead the Food and Beverage sector of the Convention Center and also of... Clementina Bar and Restaurant. Both spaces are part of the Center Shopping Complex.
Chef Tyales Veiga joins a team of other professionals who deliver dishes full of culinary techniques, fresh products, and that please all palates.
The professional's resume includes several culinary awards and participation in international gastronomic festivals. Tyales speaks about his expectations for this new phase. “It’s a pleasure to join the Food & Beverage team that serves both the Center Convention and the Clementina. At the Convention, we will have the opportunity to develop different menus, adapted to each event and catering to the desires of each one. I am certain that we will deliver a unique and enchanting experience to the public, with dishes that awaken the desire of our clients,” he shares.
The public has already experienced a bit of Tyales Veiga's expertise. At Clementina, the chef was invited to create the menu and lead the restaurant's kitchen during two gastronomic festivals promoted by the restaurant: the 'Argentine Cuisine Festival' and the 'Mediterranean Cuisine Festival'.

Trained in the Cuisine of the World course at Le Cordon Bleu Paris and with a degree in gastronomy from Harvard University, Tyales Veiga has over 20 years of experience and a consolidated national and international career. His work has earned him gastronomic awards, such as the award for best sommelier in Galicia, Spain, granted by the 'Asociación Gallega de Jornalistas'.
Furthermore, Tyales Veiga's resume also includes extensive knowledge in mixology, wine and beer pairing, food design, healthy eating, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free diets.
