13th Internet Forum in Brazil (FIB13)

Are you a professional, researcher, and/or student in the IT field? Well, we have some news for you…
The main event on Internet governance in the country has arrived in Uberlândia, at the Center Convention!
The Internet Forum in Brazil (FIB) is promoted annually by the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee (CGI.br) since 2011, and had never been held outside of a state capital. Furthermore, this is also the first time it has been held in Minas Gerais.
The FIB is a preparatory meeting for the Internet Governance Forum (IGF), a global event promoted by the United Nations (UN). Through the FIB, CGI.br seeks to encourage those interested in the debate to follow, comment on, and discuss the most relevant issues for the consolidation and expansion of an increasingly diverse, universal, and innovative Internet in Brazil.
📆 May 30 to June 2, 2023

This year, the Forum will feature three keynote lectures, 27 workshops on a wide range of topics, and will also be the stage for the announcement of the honorees in the 2nd edition of the "Highlights in Internet Governance Award," which recognizes individuals or organizations that have contributed to the development of the Internet in Brazil.
