According to organization's portal on the internet, “The Gideons International It is an interdenominational association of Christian businessmen and professionals and their wives, members in full communion of Protestant-Evangelical churches. The purpose of the Association is the propagation of the Gospel of Christ to all people, so that they may know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, through personal testimony and the distribution of the Word of God.”
