As in other editions, such as the Arab festival, the Mediterranean, and others, the Center Convention is present at the initiative, which starts this Friday (21) and runs until April 30. 

These festivals aim to promote world cuisine, showcasing typical foods and recipes from each country. The festivals offer a unique experience to the public, and this edition of Clementina presents one of the oldest cuisines in the world, with over five thousand years of history. As we've already mentioned, the 'Greek Cuisine Festival by Chef Tyales Veiga' takes place from April 21st to 30th. Chef Tyales Veiga shares his experience creating the dishes. “As with our other gastronomic festivals, we sought to bring traditional dishes from the cuisine, in this case Greek food, so that the public could learn more about the recipes and ingredients used in that country. Therefore, our goal was to create a menu with tradition, innovation, and lots of flavor!” he explains.

Horiatiki Salata It's a refreshing salad that's very popular in Greece. The first appetizer option consists of tomatoes and bell peppers, white cheese, black olives, onion, and cucumber, seasoned with aromatic herbs.

Tomatokeftedes, Known as tomato fritters, this is an appetizer that is very popular in Santorini and Syros, Greek cities, as an option for vegetarians. These fritters contain pieces of tomato, onion, mint, basil, and oregano. They are served with a dip – a type of sauce – made from natural yogurt.

Main courses

Moussaka It's one of the most traditional Greek dishes! Very similar to lasagna, it uses layers of eggplant instead of pasta, accompanied by tomato and béchamel sauce. At the festival, there's also a vegetarian version of the dish where the sauce doesn't include meat.

Kleftiko of the LambThe second main course option features succulent lamb, accompanied by potatoes. In addition, guests will also enjoy a white wine-based sauce infused with herbs, garlic, sweet onions, roasted bell peppers, and juicy tomatoes.

Salomos Sta Karvouna, a recipe that features salmon as the star of the dish. Baked with slices of Sicilian lemon and olive oil, the fish is topped with tzatziki – a yogurt and cucumber sauce – and served with kale pilaf rice.

Desserts

Mousse Yiaourti Me Meli. Finally, for dessert, the first option features one of the most famous ingredients in Greek cuisine: yogurt. The product takes on a mousse-like consistency and includes honey, a mix of nuts, and thyme. It's a light and refreshing dessert.

Galaktoboureko It is one of the oldest Greek foods; the dessert is a filo pastry pie filled with an aromatic cream.
