Last week saw another edition of the Center Shopping Festival, Center Shopping Uberlândia, A show by singer Diogo Nogueira, filled with great music, excitement, and samba classics. 

This year, the Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary and – as from the beginning – the Center Convention was once again the venue for the event. The Festival is one of the most anticipated events by customers of Center Shopping in Uberlândia and the surrounding region, as well as the general public. 

Last Thursday (16), singer and songwriter Diogo Nogueira delighted the audience with new interpretations of his career hits, such as “Pé na Areia”, “Alma Boêmia”, “Clareou” and “Sou Eu”. In addition, the singer’s repertoire also paid beautiful tributes to idols of Brazilian music such as Arlindo Cruz, Chico Buarque, Zeca Pagodinho and Tim Maia.

Center Shopping Festival: 10 years and various Brazilian music artists.

In 2024, the Festival reached its 18th edition in 10 years of existence! The event always takes place in conjunction with a special date, for example, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and Children's Day. 

Primarily, the Festival is a way for the Shopping Center to thank its customers for their partnership, since tickets are not sold. In this sense, invitations are distributed through the exchange of shopping coupons, and they always sell out well before the day of the show.

Who has already been to the Festival?

In its eighteen editions, the Festival has featured big names in Brazilian music from a wide variety of styles, such as pop, samba, MPB, pagode, and others. Artists who have performed their hits on the Center Shopping Festival stage include Maria Gadu, Frejat, Jair Oliveira and Luciana Melo, Nando Reis, Meu AmigãoZão, Paralamas do Sucesso, Fábio Júnior, Almir Sater, Palavra Cantada, Titãs, Erasmo Carlos, Alexandre Pires, Jota Quest, and Diogo Nogueira.

Center Convention and Center Shopping Festival: partners from the start.

Not only is the Festival a success, but the partnership with Center Convention is also a success and is strengthened each year. This is because every time the event has taken place, it has been held at Center Convention, which is located in the Center Shopping Complex. 

Traditionally, the event takes place in Convention Center of the space, which comfortably accommodates the approximately 2,000 clients and guests who attend the Festival.

The Center Convention retrofit ensures greater modernity for the event.

It is worth highlighting that, always seeking to offer the best structure for events – including the Center Shopping Festival – in 2022 the venue inaugurated its retrofit, which modernized several areas of the space. 

With the modernization of facilities, equipment, and services offered, the retrofit brought a great deal of innovation and technology to the Convention Center, and also inaugurated a new space, the Exhibition Pavilion. 

The transformation of the spaces was designed to cater, with even greater excellence, to all types of events, from social to corporate. Or even small gatherings – for example, for around 100 people – up to mega-events with 1500 people.
