The Center Convention once again hosted the Uberlândia Spiritist Congress, an event now in its 8th edition that has established itself as a major meeting point for reflection, learning, and fellowship among followers of the Spiritist doctrine. 

This year's congress brought together over 2,000 people from various cities across Brazil, and it was a success – and what a success!  

We know that a large event like this requires a lot of organization and attention to every detail. Therefore, in today's article, we've brought together the main lessons learned from the Spiritist Congress of Uberlândia at the Center Convention.

What is the Spiritist Congress of Uberlândia? 

Organized by Web Radio Fraternidade, the Uberlândia Spiritist Congress, called CEU, takes place annually and brings together Spiritists from all parts of Brazil and the world. According to the event organizers, 80% of the participants were from outside Uberlândia and the surrounding region. 

Among the activities are lectures and debates for spiritual development, presentations and shows of gospel music, special activities for children and teenagers, as well as a volunteer fair with small shops and many opportunities for connection among the attendees.

What did we learn from the Spiritist Congress in Uberlândia? 

Since 2018 we have hosted the Uberlândia Spiritist Congress in our facilities, and each year we learn more from our clients at Web Radio Fraternidade.

At the Spiritist Congress in Uberlândia, organization is taken so seriously that the team begins planning the following year's edition even before the current one has concluded. 

During the Congress itself, a pre-sale is conducted with prior registration of interested participants, a strategy only possible because the date was secured at the Center Convention more than a year in advance.

Customized activities to please all audiences.

The 8th Spiritist Congress of Uberlândia brought together more than 2000 people, including many families composed of parents and children of different ages. Faced with this challenge of an audience with diverse preferences and needs, the activities were distributed across three spheres: Adult CEU, Youth CEU, and Children's CEU. 

For the children, fun was guaranteed with toys and games. For the younger participants, interactive and dynamic activities with lots of music were developed. Meanwhile, the adult audience participated in lectures and more in-depth discussions.

 By offering a personalized program, the event becomes more engaging and relevant, creating a welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of age.

• Complex C, the main stage, was the center of several lectures, as well as cultural and musical attractions;
• The Exhibition Pavilion hosted the volunteer fair, with a variety of booths;
• You Clementina Spaces 1 and 2 were dedicated to the programming of CEU Jovem;
• To the Sarah K. Rooms 1 to 4 They were left with the programming of LITTLE SKY, ensuring fun and learning for children; 
• O Coffee Shop It was the meeting point for meals;
• And the Santos Dumont Room 3 It served as support to ensure the smooth running of the event.

“This helps keep the event in one place, where people come and feel at ease. I met some congress attendees in the hotel lobby, and they told us that they prefer to stay here because they feel welcome, they are within the entire complex, and they can do their shopping, go to the movies, and use these days to learn at the congress but also to take a stroll through the mall,” he comments. “It’s always a positive challenge to serve them because they carry out several simultaneous activities, involve children and teenagers, there are many people to feed, 17 lectures on the main stage alone, and they use practically all the available spaces for 3 days, not counting the two days of setup and one for dismantling. And our team always goes the extra mile and manages to handle everything with excellence,” reports Adriana Lucas, commercial executive of Center Convention.

“Last year we participated in a film event, we filled 4 movie theaters, we took everyone who could be there for the premiere of a film and it was great. People loved it. It's a family event that welcomes and receives people. It's like we're receiving people in our home,” says Divina Castro, coordinator of the Congress.
